Here in Ängeviken, you can experience the true archipelago feeling with rugged cliffs and ever-present sea views. The sea is always close – sometimes calm and mirror-like, other times alive with the movement of boats. Breathe in the scent of salty sea air, listen to the calls of the seagulls, and enjoy the magical scenery. Here, you can climb the cliffs, walk along the shoreline, or take a swim at the small beach. With a small boat harbor nearby, an ice cream café, and charming coastal villages within easy reach, there’s always something to see and do – a perfect place for both relaxation and adventure by the sea.

ABOUT THE COTTAGE

Welcome to a charming archipelago cottage with a sea view, just 15 meters from the water. The main house and guest house accommodate a total of 4 beds spread over 2 bedrooms and a loft. The main house features a kitchen with a stove, wood stove, fridge and freezer (freezer is in the guest house), a dining area for four, and a living room with a TV and Chromecast. There is also a bathroom with a toilet and bathtub. The guest house offers a daybed (80+80 cm) and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. The outdoor area includes furniture for four, two sun loungers, and a charcoal grill.

Ängevikens beach, just 50 meters from the cottage, consists of a sandy beach, a grassy area, and a jetty along the cliffs. In the small boat harbor, you will find both an ice cream café and a small summer convenience store.

TWO BEAUTIFUL OLD FISHING VILLAGES

The cozy Björholmens Marina is just three kilometers from the cottage, where you can enjoy fantastic food right by the sea. There, you can also rent pedal boats, kayaks, and bicycles. You can also book a lovely, cozy wood-fired sauna beautifully located on the jetty. Just south of Ängeviken is the charming Kyrkesund, with its beautiful old wooden houses and picturesque fishing huts. You can see the village from Ängeviken, but by road, it is a 7 km drive. From Kyrkesund, you can take a ferry to Härön, where you will find beautiful hiking trails and delicious food at Magasinet. During the sailing competition Tjörn Runt, the area comes alive with people enjoying all the sailboats passing through the narrow strait.
